I think it's a beautiful rendition of a beautiful song. Please don't listen to these morons who have nothing better to do than make fools of themselves criticizing the work of their betters. What I especially like about your performance is that you are yourself, you are not imitating McTell or anyone else. You also seem to have perfect pitch. Your performance was completely real, and your sense of time is spot on. Please keep singing, playing and recording. I think you're great.

Your pitch and intonation is very good. The phrasing just needs practice. The important thing is that you put yourself into it. I discovered BW Mctell in graduate school along with Mississippi John Hurt. Both are great. Willie's voice is just a little more flexible and there is his lyrical pitch. It's a little higher than you would expect and adds an extra dash of melancholy.
