Thank you! Excellent job and excellent recipe! If I could recommend, my friend....When I clean brass pieces like this, I use one of those dollar store electric toothbrushes to clean the hard to reach places and details. These toothbrushes are great and they only cost one dollar! And, this piece certainly has high detail areas and an electric toothbrush could make quick work of those hard to reach places. Thanks again!

Thanks. Try using a stronger vinegar and after putting on the paste, then putting the piece into a sealed plastic bag, i.e. a zip lock bag, to keep the paste from drying out while it work ts magic. If the bag swells from any gas produced, just open it, then put a disposable drinking straw into the opening to let the gases out, then reseal it around the straw.
