I'm Marzio Pelù, an Italian Toronto-based songwriter, self-made musician, DJ and journalist (anyhow composin' !) ...born in 1970, early on in life I learned to play piano, and also took cello lessons. When I was 16-years-old I started to learn and play guitar and bass, mainly self-taught. At the same time, I began to compose electronic and instrumental music, and rock songs with lyrics in English and Italian. I played bass, guitar and lead vocals in many bands: The Bikes and Alter Ego in the end of the 80s, Saskatchewan (1990), Crystal Bell (1990), Trauma (1990-1995) and Coverin' (1995). From '96 I'm a solo musician and I write songs with lyrics and instrumental music. As a DJ, I worked at Crocodile, Baraonda, Cave, Rm5 and Rsv in Italy. Some years ago I moved to Canada where I work as a journalist at Corriere Canadese and Canadian National Multilingual News Group - CNMNG in Toronto and as a teacher of Italian and where I - of course - play my music!
