Pretty much every review I've seen has said that these are fine for normies looking to play these games in the most accessible way possible, but that they aren't the best way to play the games.

I'm glad GOG managed to cut a deal with Capcom. Its sad to see there's too much negativity when the ports are fine at a good price (it cost me $15 the whole trilogy) not to mention these games haven't been re-release since the 90's (early 2000's if you want to count the GameCube ports) I just hope they get the chance to actually come to consoles next and who knows, maybe Dino Crisis 1 & 2 are next

The game play of the GOG re1 plays exactly as it should.

They’re ports from windows 98 of course they’re not gonna be perfect but it’s great they way they are because all the current mods that are out will work with these game which are great because they are better anyways

I honestly prefer the GOG version because it doesn't have those annoying black bars on the sides that the rebirth version has.

lol. how dumb must people be to no realize what a port is. I am thankfuk I can play the originals again on my modern pc.
