Description
I am a retired ageing hippy and got hooked on music reaction videos were younger generations listen to music from my era and react, Well I cant react to music I have already heard so thought I would review my life through the musical soundtrack of my life. On my channel I will pick a year not chronologically and returning to same years more than once. I will pick a popular song from that year or one I liked and explain what I was doing at the time, what was happening in the world and what that piece of music meant to me. I will encourage older generations to contribute through the comments and also ask younger generations to let me know how they feel about our music and world events of the time.

100% Guitarjoy. They are all in the zone. I love love love this feeling inside the crowd, when they realise that everyone in the crowd had this special feeling, of beeing a part of thousands fans enjoying together some great music.

I Saw Dire Straits a couple times in the early 80's in Northern Cal and was always blown away by the skill and finesse that Mark shows on the guitar. Particularly live, he is one of the few artists that's truly better live. Perfection, power, love for the music and skill. How about a double bill at the Concord pavilion, Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton! I still have the ticket stub and the memory of that night. 18 then, 60 now and still enjoying it as much as ever.

That's why rock from the 80s and early 90s will never be surpassed. The sound was incredible, the songs unforgettable and the artists simply brilliant.

Best live performance ever

I love this performance, but the live performance of "Telegraph Road" from the same concert is even better. It is a masterpiece.

We already have seen.

Another live performance from a band that is just locked in is The Rolling Stones "Love In Vain" live 1972, a whole different tempo and feel, but Taylor and Richards were beautiful together.

If you listen to any bootlegs of any of the live versions of this tour, they’re all the same pace. I’d never bought into the playing faster thing with Terry Williams… maybe a few extra drum fills lol. Anyway, epic performance. Thanks for the personal life info too sir.
Just came across your channel and I appreciate your story. Depression is a very difficult thing to deal with. Have also had it for a long time. But for some reason this piece gives off happy vibes. Love it when people rewind.

Please do Telegraph Road from the same concert.
