Description
This is the official account for the Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and our centers practicing in the Plum Village Tradition.
Plum Village, in southwest France, is the first monastic community founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay) in the West. Plum Village is where Thay has realized his dream of building a Beloved Community: creating a healthy, nourishing environment where people can learn the art of living in harmony with one another and with the Earth.
At all our centers we weave mindfulness into all our daily activities, training ourselves to be mindful throughout the day: while eating, walking, working, or enjoying a cup of tea together. We enjoy periods of silence, sitting meditation, rest, relaxation, mindful work and play. On this YouTube channel we are sharing Dharma talks, guided meditations, songs and chants from the Plum Village Tradition.

My Mother on her death bed smiled and said to me "It's all about love! Love everybody as much as you can "

I am an ordained Christian priest in an Anglican tradition. The beauty and serenity of this beautiful chant crosses not only ethnic and cultural barriers, but religious ones as well. Thich Nhat Hanh’s words not only resonated with those who followed the path of the Buddha, but the Christ as well. All of us are connected with the Divine, and the world needs all peoples of faith to come together in unity more than ever. May the vision of Thick continue to be a source of inspiration.

Hey you. Yes, you. You're probably scrolling through the comments, like I am, reading all these motivational comments. If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. For me, I'm gonna wake up tomorrow morning, hit the gym, and cherish life for the amazing blessing that it is. I hope you do the same and have an amazing day as well

This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. Thich Naht Hanh was such a great master of compassion and wisdom and such a powerful example of what humans are capable of. We are beautiful beings, and life is a messy, complex, and magnificent thing. Thank you for sharing this.

I returned yesterday from Plum Village. I listened to this song played at Lower Hamlet and tears came to my eyes since the beginning to the end. Thank you sisters and brothers for letting us know the art of living a true life.

None of us know where we're going. All we can know is what we do in the moment. Be there for your loved ones, strangers in need, and most importantly yourself. Life gives you many blessing but more than that, lessons. Most will hurt, some will have to be repeated, but all are necessary. I hope the spirt that lives within us can find some peace in that.

I discovered this completely randomly, and for the last 3 hours, I have replayed it over 6 times (and, I'm not stopping), and each time, it has more and more impact. Each of your comments adds a significant meaning to the music and I thank you so much.
