That scene in the refugee camp where they’re talking about coke making you crazy, paranoid, out of your mind, and how Tony’s never going to be that way. Man.... That hits. Would have been a major addition.

Scarface's Mom to me is a fascinating character. She represents his hard side and having a mother who is notoriously hard to please could turn you into a striver.

Man, they should’ve kept some of those scenes with Angel (especially the one where they banter about mysticism). They add so much to his character and would’ve made his death much more impactful, instead he felt like just another thug.

Tony's such a goofball when he's trying to behave like an innocent, good guy. Like the toast with his ma and sis (among other scenes) he's so intimidating when he's angry, but having to act nice is like a show he puts on, and he comes across as a goofball. It's hilarious. Undeneath all the viciousness, Tony's a goof/clown at heart, even if it's a super rare side of him that you hardly ever see.

I know they probably thought that scene with his fiancé maybe made Sosa look soft or something (I don't think so at all), but that's the whole idea about his sociopathy.
