I've always thought this, Dara O Briain is a perfect instigator in this situation. EVERYTIME I saw Boyle crack an offensive joke he adds a side-joke of his own to keep it going, then stands back and lets Boyle dig even deeper. He was always good at that lol.

I've been to the Rebecca Adlington Swimming Centre, spoons are banned there, makes you think doesn't it.

Frankie Boyle is a comedian it's his job to tell jokes.  Jokes aren't meant to be taken seriously.  If you take yourself so seriously that a joke upsets you, you have problems.

Frankie regularly takes the piss out of Wayne Rooney and Adrain Chilles on MTW so why is it any different with one joke about Rebecca Adlington?

I think he should take it back. Let's face it whats a spoon ever done?

How many times has he joked about Rooney resembling shrek or a gorilla etc....then ONE joke (which really is more an observation HENCE WHY IT IS FUNNY) about Rebecca Adlington and suddenly it's not OK.

I was actually laughing out loud while watching this. Frankie Boyle is close to the knuckle, that's what makes him so good. There have been controversies over his tweets, but his taliban–assisted joke was really excellent.

I love how people start laughing when Frankie starts speaking. They all knew it was coming.

If your famous you got to expect a comedian to rip it out of you at some point.
