I agree with you, and don't really care much for comparing them. The only reason why i did to such length, was because some half-assed kid was spewing bullshit, saying that the STI was more fuel efficient than the Camaro, and that the prices were different. They sell in the same price range, and get the same gas mileage, except the Camaro is technically more fuel efficient since it has same MPG but MUCH MORE power.

Yeah, I'll give you that. We were originally talking about the STi and Camaro, which are affordable cars so people buying them probably care about gas a little. I'd say we disagree on how important mpg is when talking about how well engineered a car is.

This is specifically why i used the words "better engineered THAN THEIR COMPETITION". F1 cars are not competition for production vehicles. A Toyota Yaris is not competition for a Corvette. When you're comparing vehicles with different purposes in mind, you can't really objectively say that one is engineered "better" than the other. But when two cars like the Camaro SS and the WRX STI, both cost the same, are both marketed as affordable sports cars... it's fair to compare.

When the turbo's spooled up, and bouncing them rpm's off the rev limiter. oh boy.

revving on launch control and after leaving throttle we can hear clearly turbo whistle which is reducing its axles rpm_ nice!
