I think the major flaw here is that the play is mounted all the forwards. The CSL Elite wheelbase is front-heavy, plus all the forces you put on the wheel are in the front as well.

I recently switched from a Playseat Challenge to a GT Omega Apex and, honestly, words can't convey how much better it is. Find a way to stop your chair moving and you have a setup that's unrivalled in terms of strength/money.

Have the same playseat challenge, but with a CSL DD . I was lucky that when my wheel is in the correct position, my wheelbase is in the middle of the bar where the wheelbase is, so I have zero wobble with my challenge and flex in the wheelbase. Have the same solution with my pedals, just a strap around, that was good enogh. Dont have any issues with the pedals going left or right. But I am thinking of upgrading to some other rig anyways, cause I dont really like the way you get into and out of the chair :) but it is a nice fit for my body when im in it.

I have a sim lab WS-pro coming today and I’m gonna see how it works with the seat part only of the playseat challenge with the wheel stand in front! I know it’s not practical to buy both for this setup but I’ve had the challenge for a long time now and want something sturdier for my wheel/pedals. CSL elite with v3’s. A few weeks it’ll be the CSL dd. Hoping it works out well so at least I can get some use out of the playseat still. Plan to throw both in the front closet while not using
