The Birchaven was named after my Grandfather Alex Birch. He worked for GM to develop the engine for their first fleet. He and my Grandmother took the first Birchaven on a maiden voyage across the country. My brother is currently duplicating his trip in his own 73' Birchaven. They sure are fun. Thanks for sharing.
