The only reason I can think of for Marvin not leaving Tweetle Dumb and Tweetle Stupid (Jeffy and Rose) is because the poor man is suffering from a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome and has grown an attachment to his abusers to the point where he feels like if they leave him or vice versa, he will have no one else who actually cares about him. Plus, his self-confidence is virtually nonexistent because literally everyone and their mother keeps putting him down.
