I actually like Candace Parker, she seems down to earth. If you’re comparing her to an NBA player obviously she’s going to be worse, that’s just the nature of men and women in sports. Men are naturally bigger, faster, and stronger, but this doesn’t mean she’s not one of the best at what she does.

When I was in highschool I was the only girl who played basketball with everyone at lunch. The guys were super cool, miss them. They weren’t afraid to shove me, push me, block me, run up on me. It was probably the most fun I’d had when playing sports. I improved a lot because they weren’t afraid to give it their all, I kept up with them pretty well. PE coach even did Basketball tournaments at our school and I would team with some of the guys I played at lunch with. Our team won and it was hella fun.
