i found out about this game trying to find another horror japanese game i played as a kid where you are walking and come across a monstrous woman. i watched a gameplay and had so many questions, and i LOVE your theory!!!!! it makes so much sense keep up the good work

the reason the finnish mythological creature is in japan? everyone in finland is already prepared to prevent it from doing its thing! they all know the story so it went somewhere people wouldnt know about it

I've seen this played by Secret Sleepover Society when it was released, and I thought it was super neat at the time. I didn't think much about the story or lore, so this was really neat to stumble across!

Wow. That is some deep lore for what seems like such a short, simple game--and great sleuthing on your part! I love when Japanese developers take on various world mythologies, it always seems to end up some fascinating places.

if it is a finish mythological deity, then it may be safe to assume the game takes place in a world where those creatures are the gods and such of the world, so i doubt they'd be region locked, but thats just an idea

My friend recommended me and I was watching it, then it hits me that I have actually played the game and even steeamed it with my friends, I can't believe there's such an insane lore behind this one game from a demo disk I found online.
