0:13, Her just flailing her body back while maintaining her stoic expression and unwavering eye contact really sells this Wednesday as almost a machine or a zombie, precise with every wild movement, but also having an underlying sense of playfulness, as despite her demeanor, she isn't emotionless and can experience a desire for joy and fun like anyone else.

Ortega made Wednesday very believable and it's so refreshing how she truly portrayed Wednesday as a teen and as she said she didn't wish to 'rip off' the original wednesdays. I felt she did a great job and made Wednesday shine through the screen, I can definitely feel uncomfortable with Wednesday's actions but at the same time can't help to drawn to her

What was so great about this scene is that Wednesday totally was purely herself and not only did no one judge her for it, she actually got into the spirit of her surroundings too. You had everyone having a good time including her and just happy to be there. It also probably is why no one blamed her for the blood rain afterwards too.

Her moves absolutely take you by surprise the first time you see them because of how animated they are and how perfectly it suits her character. It also reminds us that Wednesday isn't just some socially awkward teen; she's full of character and couldn't give a rat's mummified ass if you understood her or not.
