The last frame, Taylor with one arm, actually almost made me break down. Taylor deserved better, I don't care what anyone says. She was a girl who went through several lifetimes worth of bullshit before she turned eighteen. She was a kid, in an awful position, making the best choices she could. She saved the planet, and got no reward, no thank you, no happy ending. She deserved better, and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.

It's crazy to think that after everything she went through, Taylor really might have ended up safe, in recovery, and maybe even dare I say happy. After all the trauma, justification, struggle and death, that she might really have a second chance at being human.

i still believe that taylor died at the end of worm, and the epilogue was just a fever dream in her death throes. too much of it doesn’t make sense. i mean, surgery with two bullets? there’s isn’t an angle that exists for said bullet to travel through and potential and no other part of the brain. even though i absolutely love taylor, i still think her end was a fitting one. she deserved so much better, and everything she went through messed her up beyond repair. it’s hard to even say that her passenger was what made her do all those things. at one point, i think that she might have learned to enjoy the bad things she did, even if it wasn’t a conscious response. she was really good at what she did, a daresay even a tactical and combat genius, and after everything? having to go back to her normal mundane life? she just saved the world. nothing would ever top that. no high would ever be as intense as that one. so maybe, in the end, the reason she saw combat and aggression instead of people celebrating, was just a desperate way for her to ignore that she wouldn’t be able to enjoy the only thing she was good at and the only thing she liked doing, because the alternative would mean mediocrity and boredom. it would take away everything she worked for, and the thing she was best at. maybe she envisioned that everyone was against her in the end, as a kind of final boss. she just defeated scion, with the help of all capes out there. so what if that was her next challenge, to beat those who aided in beating the strongest cape out there? but what do i know. all the same, i loved taylor as a character, and it hurt to see her go. rest in peace taylor hebert, fierce protector, ruthless aggressor, and unsung hero, if only in actions, and not in intent. we love you taylor.

I know this is unpopular but I choose to believe that somewhere out there Taylor doesn't have to feel she has to carry the weight of the world on her shoulders anymore.
