this man is a doctor/surgeon for the military and even he is shocked and appalled by whatever horrific backstory Mole has. that always scared me lmao

The look in his eyes when he says "but you did" are filled with so much anger, despite his upbeat personality and way of speaking, it makes this so much better

I wish more animations looked like this, I miss it.

To this day I have never seen a more clever and hilarious way to gloss over a character's backstory.

This same man talked gleefully about amputating someone's leg with a hacksaw like ten minutes earlier in the movie, so the idea that Mole's backstory is so horrible that he wishes he never learned of it, combined with Phil Morris' great delivery, made this one of my favorite lines both as a kid and rewatching it now, in a movie that's full of great dialogue and character interactions. This is a long-winded way of saying what pretty much every other comment already said, but god I love this movie!

Underrated and often not stated is Phil Morris' rhythmic line delivery. It's bordering on melodic. That's very good voice acting.

ah Atlantis: The Lost Empire. i use to watch this movie over and over again as a kid. this movie and Treasure Planet are two of Disney's most criminally underrated movies! they were both amazing, but both suffered from poor promotion and it didnt catch on

This movie had one of the best supporting cast in a Disney film. They all stayed supporting but were all super memorable

I just found out today that Jackie Chiles delivered this line. Now I can't get enough of it.
