Hi there, I'd like to read stalin's economic problems of socialism in ussr, I think I can define myself as a Marxist leninist, however I've mostly studied the theory, ignoring how it was practically applied in the ussr's socialist economic system. Could someone please tell me how production was organized in the factories in the stage after the NEP? Here's my biggest question: did the proletarian state appoint someone to control production or were the factory directors appointed directly by the workers and chosen among the workers themselves?

I am an anarchist too. I was watching a doc about the russian revolution and they ofcourse brought up Lenin. The way they talked about him caused me to see him from a different perspective. I am excited to see another side of him and Russian history.
