If they were trying to incorporate a more realistic feel to playing the guitar, then surely they should have left the pinkie in... Playing with just 3 fingers seems really off

I just played this game today. For people still wondering, the game is far more difficult that it looks. For those who have complained in the comments that it is only three buttons.....seriously? It has six, and on higher difficulties, you have to mix three different buttons. You have it where you have two white buttons and one black at one time, and then quickly transfers to another, and trust me, moving your fingers like that is a lot harder in practice than you think. There is a lot more hand/eye coordination than just the five buttons of the earlier games. And for those worried about the songs on it....it has over 1000 of them, and they are of many different genres; not just pop and rock, but several others. The game is worth it.

Welp, this is pretty disappointing. Better off playing GH3 on the ol' PS2.

I've wanted a new guitar hero for so long, makes me so sad that it's so different... I loved the 5 button layout they had before, and I don't like notes on screen :/

I really love the idea of this new Guitar Hero, it allows Rock Band and Guitar Hero to  be their own thing. I think if they added the fourth fret and brought the rock meter I'd be all for it. Love it so far, but if it added those two things I would really be happy.

I'll stick to a real guitar and Rocksmith, but it looks good for those who don't want to make that commitment
