All BR era tightlock coupler EMUs could work in multiple together - class 313, 314, 315, 317, 318, 319, 320, 321, 322 etc. because they were all based on standard inter-unit control (those were the days... Before the world went mad).

Consists like this aren’t that uncommon. They do a test run from Ilford-Witham and back after maintenance under the 5F96 and 5V97 head codes

The weirdest one I have personally seen were GWR passenger services with Class 158s coupled to Class 143 Pacers

Weirdest, rarest (in fact most likely unique) I saw was a nine car formation, Class 309-Mentor-Class 309, with all three pans up. Test run following a spate of high speed dewirements involving 3 class 309 units in multiple.

If this is weird then Train Sim World 2 is very weird as I coupled a 314 (in 313121 livery) with a 465

After reading the description, not being British, I surmised that you were talking about the locomotive pairing with a certain type of passenger car. If that is the case, I would have chosen "rare" or "unusual" as the adjective instead of "weird".
