Gayle, I've been enjoying your work for months, and aside from how much I like your style I also love how simply and clearly you show us how to do a thing and you also laugh at yourself which makes me laugh. We all need more laughter. Thanks for being uniquely you!

Thanks for this vid. I've watched loads of junk journal vids and yours is the first to make it seem simple. As someone on a very limited budget and who can't go anywhere because of the pandemic, limited supplies, i like the fact that you use whatever you have to hand.

Came upon this in my journal journey and realized that for all the tags, flips, clusters and pockets I've made, I was reticent to put it all together; thanks for making it easy. I love this creative collaborative community!

bless your heart Gayle making a beginners tutorial. Journal making looks so complicated yet so easy. I am sure all the newbies will be so happy seeing this xxx

This tutorial is EXACTLY what I've been looking for to get started on my first "junk journal!" I've been scouring YouTube for something simple and straightforward. Your clear style is no-nonsense and very educational. THANK YOU! ; )

I love the idea of an "IDEA" journal. It will give me the opportunity to try without the fear of failure, thank you so much

You are so good at explaining things, and so encouraging with your words. One of my neighbors gave me a beautiful little 3×4 journal that she found at a craft stand, and thought of me She knows I make cards, and thought I could maybe do something with it. It's all decorated on the outside; just needs to be filled. I think it will make a perfect "first," and you've given me the courage to jump in and "just do it!"

This was one of the best tutorials on beginner journaling ....I have finally found someone who takes the time nice n slow to explain... thank you soo much

Thank you Gayle for this beginner journal as I know it will help others who haven't made their first journal. And you are right. There's no wrong way in junk journaling. It's only paper and if you don't like it, tear it up and start over. And yes practice makes perfect! Start small at the beginning until you have learned how to make different ephemera! You are a fantastic teacher Gayle and I've learned a lot from you and i so appreciate your knowledge! Tyfs!

THIS might be the easiest and best tutorial for a beginner I have seen! Thank you so much for sharing!
