The Windows 7 startup screen is always in 32 bit color because if 32 bit color is needed, the startup will use 32 bit color, and the Windows 7 startup screen needs 32 bit color to get shown properly, so it uses 32 bit color instead of 256 colors.

It looks like it's supposed t o be 16 color mode, but if this is really 256 color mode,m this is crazy! Btw 16.7M colors is actually 24bit
