FYI the bike you showed is a "damesfiets" not an "omafiets". The omafiets is a very specific type of bicycle with very specific styling. Usually they're black. They have a step though frame, black dress guards, fully enclosed black chain guard, back pedal brakes, no shifters or handbrakes and a more traditional stand instead of a kickstand. Another signature style feature is that the two bottom bars are connected with a teeny tiny bar in the middle.

Yeah, I don’t see why people thought EVs would make any difference in the first place. They still pull way too much energy. It’s about less energy consumption.

Keep up the good work! Zoning and public transportation will do more to fight climate change then electric cars. I would also add that cars cease civil engagement in communities. They remove people from the environment they should care about

I wish trains had a bicycle and small motorcycle car so I could take my tiny dual sport by train and not need to rent a car or get a taxi at the other end.
