I was a Goth in the 80's, nothing changes, the kids where I lived used to call me the black widow, like it was a bad thing. I actually loved it.

I'm goth. One time in school we were having thus school fundraiser were you needed to get signatures, I got 15 pieces of candy from people who thought I was a trick or treater... goth perks

Whenever I get abuse on the streets for dressing as a Goth I always throw it right back at them. "Why do you wear black?" "Why do you wear green, red, grey and brown?" "Oooh Goth" "Oooh clone", "It's not Halloween yet" "It's not Easter yet!" "Do you worship Satan?" "Do you worship God?" "Is that your real hair?" "Is yours real?" Answering a question with a question generally confuses them and it is amazing to see them stutter.

I was walking down a street with my friend once, and this child just rode past on his bike and yelled at the top of his lungs: "OH MY GOD IT'S A GOTH!!!" It was actually really funny, mainly because I've never had that kind of reaction

When someone says 'Who's funeral?', just reply with 'I'm on my way to yours'.
