something funny happened when I did it to one of my friend.. when I said I have a feeling that this is your card and picked a random card it was this random card and he said how the heck did you do it I was like excuse me? he said this is my card!! I was so surprised and I laughed so hard at that moment

LOL I was following this card trick exactly how you were doing it and for simplicity reasons I also made my nine of hearts the bottom card. when I spread the pile and grabbed a random card it was the eight of club like yours was! so funny and weird!
