The thing I liked about the 5 firsr seasons was that they tried to be plausible or very much like reaility. Jane Davis dies, Tom Hammerschmidt dies, and she thinks she can get away with it with no consequences? Even Frank had problems with the deqth5of Zoe Barnes. It haunted him even through the final season. This is the easiest and laziest of solutions writers came around with. Just senseless

Tom faced his death as a hero. Saw it coming and selflessly put his final moments to good use.

Toms death is by far one of the cinematographic ever. It was so extremely intense how he knew the end has come.

The way Tom accepted was terrified but calmed down his dog.. He was such a complicated, well written character.

Imagine having such gravitational and unpredictable characters and then turning them into absolute cartoon villains.

This scene left me with an incredible bad vibe for the rest of the day. Mainly for Tom, since he realized the descent from him. He said goodbye to his dog and took the courage to wait for the end of him. Tom faced his death like a hero. He saw it coming and selflessly took advantage of his final moments. My respects for this amazing character.

Tom Hammerschmidt is honestly one of the best characters in the whole series. His character development from Patriarchal asshole in season 1 to Hero by season 4-6 is honestly one of the best in the show.

As much as I hated Tom throughout the series (not the acting, just for trying to take down the Underwoods), his death was probably the most well done thing in the final season (and still really good overall). His acceptance and cunning really make the scene a rollercoaster of emotions.

Cathy Durant was my favourite character. Something of the Captain Janeway about her

Taking out Durant with the coordination of the FSB was shockingly brilliant and emotional, with her Husband right by her side. FMD!

Never really cared for Jane or Tom, but if the Underwoods were ever to fall I would want it to be by Cathy Durant.

“A robbery gone terribly wrong?!” What a bizarre way to put that, it sounds like that robbery turned out pretty effective.
