The purple gel was taken out because its uses caused players to get motion sickness... Yup, good thing nothing else can cause motion sickness in the game.

Valve should seriously get some better game testers. There was some guy testing episode 2 and he got lost in a cave for over an hour then Valve made that cave a lot more simple. The guy was running in the same circle for an hour.

They could still release F-stop in the way they intended, just would have to be smart enough to call the game "Aperture" (as it a prequel to Portal with no portals) problem solved.

About the alternate endings...someone would find it eventually. If someone found the Donkey Kong easter egg, then they're bound to find the alternate endings.

They really should have left that alternate moon ending in. Someone would definitely have found it and it would have been one of those cool things you see posted on youtube then everyone goes and tries it out for themselves.
