I would like to invite you to my restart in playing guitar again. After a break of 17 years I restarted playing in march 2010 and changed from classical guitar to e-guitar with all the difficulties about it - slowly fingers, fight with the pick and strings making noise when they should be silent, improvisation (playing without notes) etc. I hope you enjoy it. My main literature: different books by Troy Stetina, technical exercises by John Petrucci and some german authors (wikibooks - thanx to Mjchael) and of course many great video lessons here on youtube.
Upgrade 04/07/2011: I bought a bass guitar two days ago and it's much fun to play the lower tones, too.
Upgrade in 2014: Now I definitly changed from guitar to bass guitar. I'm playing in a band since July 2014 and it's a lot of fun at the bass!!!!
