The fact that we got to see the clones and a gun ship again 10/10 order 66 broke the scale

The people of Naboo never forgot Qui Gon's sacrifice for them against the trade federation which is why i think they didn't even hesitate to help the jedi and for grogu to escape.

Never would have I have expected to see the Royal Naboo Security Forces engage the Coruscant Guard and other clone troopers

For those who don’t know the black guy is Ahmed best, the actor who played jar jar binks. This role was given to him as a way to show appreciation and honor/give Ahmed a more likable role in the SW universe.

Crazy to see this stuff in this day and age. Going back to the era of the prequels in HD is surreal.

I think this scene feels straight out of revenge of the Sith with the visuals and sounds ect. The Jedi temple stuff felt odd especially because of the lightsabre props they use and the shiny clones but this scene here was really satisfying

I’ve missed the sound of Naboo blasters

I guess we could call these 5 Naboo guards the first martyrs of the Rebellion

Remember that Jar Jar is also from Naboo. It’s no wonder they were so willing to help.

It’s good to hear Temuera Morrison back again voicing the clone troopers. Even for a brief moment

These Royal Guards made a split-second decision to sacrifice themselves for the jedi and fight against the Republic's army, despite the fact that the jedi were declared enemies of the state. They acted faster than the inhibitor chips that forced the clones to kill the jedi. Now that is badass. Not only did they understand how Palpatine, their own senator became a dictator who has to be opposed, they died for something they believed in.

At least someone was willing to help the Jedi on that terrible night.

I love this backstory, RIP to those guards. Protecting Grogu is a badass way to go out. Without hesitation “ship is fueled and ready to go”

It would have been nice if Commander Fox was one of those troopers, getting some screentime before Vader...

During the rise of the Empire, the Emperor's home planet of Naboo rapidly established itself as a major irritant. After a number of Naboo's ambassadors were sent home in various states of dismemberment, her newly elected Queen broke off diplomatic ties, and began exploring military options. Clearly it was time for a regime change, a change that would be effected by the 501st, now under the direct command of Darth Vader. Our orders were simple: to infiltrate the city, take out their leader, sending a clear signal to other potential troublemakers in the Empire.

Having Naboo help a Jedi during Order 66 was a nice detail. During TPM, the Jedi were the ones who helped them fend off the Trade Federation's invasion when the Republic failed them. Qui Gon even died in the process, adhering strictly to what the Jedi stood for instead of being a Republic proxy. This scene is a testament to his legacy and shows how much better his ideals were.
