Description
Tips, tricks, stories, advice and rambling loosely related to the attendance of festivals, shows and metal in general. New videos every second Thursday or whatever, but no promises yeah?
Nothing I say is in any way researched. Everything is purely anecdotal based on my many years of experience attending metal festivals like Wacken, Copenhell, Brutal Assault, Soundwave, Ankarock and Metal for the Brain amongst things. As such it may be worth taking any advice with a pinch of salt.
I make no promises of your entertainment. This channel has been crafted for my own personal enjoyment and entertainment. If you enjoy it that's a plus I guess.

My grandma taught me how to sew just for my battle jacket, she loves seeing me wear it because it's proof I actually paid attention to her.

I hand sew all my patches on, and every time I add a band, I listen to them the whole time I'm stitching it on

Sewing is so metal imo - you're stabbing something multiple times in order for it to stick to something else...then wearing it's Frankenstein's monster-esque corpse on your body.

If your needle doesn't go through fabric easily, just run your needle gently through your hair and it will grease it up just enough to go through your fabric with no problem.

Forgot to mention: safety pin/straight pin your patches before you sew them on. Just don't pin down one side and remove the pins as you sew. Keeps shit in place.

I own a machine. But I do sew and embroider by hand. I love how great this tutorial is for people who don't sew on a daily basis. :)

Finally making my first battle jacket that I’ll be wearing until the end of time. Already got a list of metal patches and a few dungeon synth patches and this helps a lot.

Came for the laughs, stayed for the good battle jacket patch-sewing advice. The pinch method, it is! Thanks for making this.
