This has more to say about Kobe being off by forcing and being a little too aggressive or simply just missing shots. This has nothing to do Pierce's defense. If you know Kobe, you know he makes those types of shots often. Yes, Pierce had a rare block but we all know that Paul Pierce is not an elite defender, especially not enough to lock up Kobe Bryant.
