One thing that I’ve hated about pop/ some rap artists that’s made its way into the punk scene is promo runs. By the time the album comes out, 1/3 or even 1/2 the songs were already released as singles, and you’ve heard most of the others as snippets. You sit down to listen to the new album and it doesn’t even feel new. We gotta bring back just dropping an album without the promo shit

the only leaks i can respect are when people leak it when its not going to be on an album, a new frank ocean song was just leaked for example but it was only leaked to the public since it was from the scrapped album (with DHL and In My Room)

Yet he probably consumed a lot of Kanye leaks for example. When you're fan, once it's out, it's out. I'm gonna listen to it. In Kanye's case, you get to see so much into what never materialized despite having potential or already being amazing. Mental illness like he has, has made him change drastically from one moment to another and sometimes shooting himself in the foot. So it sucks for him, but he'll survive some petty leaks. People still go and listen anyway. Only hardcore fans even care about leaks.
