I like Tyson's bonding with Dragoon and his ability to think of an way to win even during bad situations. Maybe he sometimes have clutches but he afterwards changes his emotions into his power . And he have clutches just because he believes his friends but he is able to overcome them and do patch up as he is great hearted. Both Tyson and Kai are legends but I like Tyson a little more because of his talent and most importantly Passion

Kai is far more consistent and has better stats, but Tyson thrives in clutch moments and all that friendship BS, so they kind of balance each other out in the end.
