That was way more entertaining than I thought it would be, real nice runs, Marco had some weird pathing but still came down to the wire of the fishing pole, it was pretty sweet.

The level of skill in this is amazing. Two players with over a 5 hour run within 5 minutes of each other is insane

So, the hover boot strat they were talking about for fishing, I dunno if this works in all versions of the game, but if you cast your rod while Link's standing on the water with the hoverboots, he'll drop through during the cast animation, and this kinda breaks it. The game will put you into fishing perspective, but you'll still be able to move Link around freely. Now, this helps a lot, because what you can do is hook a fish, then just start running around the pond until it gets pulled on land, at which point continuing to reel it in and land it becomes trivial.

I noticed the Ocarina memory game in Lost Woods they each had different patterns, shouldn't the patterns be the same if they are on the same seed?

I played 4 seeds and watched 2 other races before this one, and I STILL managed to learn something about this game from watching this race.

One way to loose a shield is in the well if you backflip into the like like through the chained wall it can hit you and take your stuff then if you go through the door to get to it, it’s gone

would love to see a race with different seeds.
