Habs fan here, Jordan Harris won't wow you, but he is a steady, reliable 5 - 6 defenseman. If he can move up the defensive line up, that's a bonus for the Blue Jackets.

Can play both sides, has some offensive upside and is defensively reliable. A gem off ice as well which is a bonus for the organization.

Jordan Harris has good potential. Don't expect a star but an honest defender. He wasn't one of my favorite defensemen, but I have to admit that he has qualities and potential to develop that could be interesting for the Jackets. Good luck to him. Is one good person and a good player.

As a Montreal fan , Harris is alot like Brett kulak , doesn't wow you with anything he does but also doesn't do bonehead mistakes that make you go WTH , smart player that does everything fine but nothing great .

Columbus made a great trade and, even without considering how the cap space will be used, won the trade by getting the best player.
