ive been thinking for a while that she reminded me of early lady gaga. she has a strong image, writes her own music, uses her voice for her audience, connects with her audience in a pretty special, inviting way, and has an amazing stage presence. she isn't just being another pretty girl with a pretty voice. and now to see her perform this only cements that idea.

what i love the MOST about Chappell is that she has so clearly studied the performers that have come before her i think that’s what makes her feel so timeless already.
