As a Korean of both countries, I find it sad that both North and South Korea are suffering under the complete opposite sides of a dystopia. North Korea being a Communist dictatorial dystopia while South Korea being a Capitalist cultural dystopia.

Poor people that are starving and who are in extreme poverty and survival mode don’t have kids. Sex and procreation are the absolute last things on their minds. Nobody wants to bring kids into a hellhole. This os what happens when you aren’t at least decent to your people……the people slowly and steadily go away.
