guys.. listen I’m 21 now turning 22 soon and let me give you a really serious life advice right now since I was in the same situation you’re in so you don’t make the same mistakes in life I did🏻 .. it’s going to be longer but I really think this could help some of you who feel kinda stuck in life or burned out and conflicted.

I'm a gifted kid, but I lost the motivation to do anything. I want to succeed, but I just can't feel motivated enough to care anymore. school has really ruined learning for me, I can never catch a break from the school work.

I don't know if I'm a burnt out gifted kid but it's the closest to describe me.

I feel like less of a person just because my grades are getting worse and worse. My mom doesn't see me as a person with feelings

Been a gifted kid my whole life. Never once realized I was burnt out until recently. My mom once said to me that “your generation thinks that being depressed is so cool”, when we have our own things that we have to worry about. We might not experience what they experienced as kids, but they won’t ever experience what I have to experience as kids.

I'm failing in school, tomorrow's my exam and I don't know a single word
