Michael Kovach was such a good choice for his voice. I literally can't see anyone else playing him.

I love the little detail of before he threw the bowling ball at kinger to knock him into the hole, he looks back down the way where kaufmo was rampaging and looked concerned, which i think means he actually knocked Kinger and gangle into the whole to send them away from kaufmo, showing that underneath all that Jack assert he does care about his friends

His voice just makes jax even more perfect

I love how Jax genuinely meant the "ladies first" and then was like "wait a minute, no"

Seriously it's the voice and of course, the facial expressions that get me. Even though his actions and dialogue make him come off as mostly antagonistic he’s voice actor and animators give him so much charisma and an almost cheeky vibe I love it!

As someone actually named Jax, I can confirm that I am fine with whatever, as long as I get to see funny things happen to people.

that smile is so mesmerizing, and i noticed why, it's a static texture underneath his head, to emote his mouth they just move the mouth, leaving the teeth underneath static

Jax is one of those rare moments where a fictional character is both likeable but also a total jerk, I've seen other shows try to do this but they never really perfected it as much as the amazing digital circus has done it

Honestly even if he ends up being insufferable I will still like him simply because I absolutely love how they animated his movements and even more the facial expressions

I'm starting to notice the pattern that every character Michael Kovach voices is instantly the best character in anything ever....

what i love so much about this character and this pilot as a whole is the humor is absolutely fantastic, its not cringey or trying to be overly edgy, everything jax says comes off as hilarious and genuinely cool, he could be constantly quipping lame forth wall breaking one liners, or being overtly mean, but the writing is so good hes a bastard while being so genuinely likable and thats a REALLY hard thing to do.

His voice....it fits Jax perfectly.

I know this sounds weird but I just love the way Jax’s mouth moves. Like his teeth are always in the same position but with how expressive his mouth is it makes it look like his teeth are moving with it

I think Jax is one of the people who've been in the circus the longest, like 2nd or 3rd longest time. Considering his attitude, he acts as if everything just happens on a daily basis, like "oh look he abstracted, same shit as usual"

I love how they managed to find the perfect balance between being a lovable character and being an arsehole. That's genuinely impressive

The fact they can write such a snarky entitled character and still have an entire fandom love him is just amazing
