I came here because I saw the advert for the stormfire and used my common sense to check its legitimacy! Thanks for the clarification.

I came here after seeing the scam ad. Obviously, it was gas, but they claimed no.

I guess YouTube couldn’t give a shit about false advertising so long as they get paid.

Just saw the ad in Canada as a USB Lighter. Non butane, no fuel sources.
danielmccaf (52 minutes ago)
In Canada there is a youtube ad claiming it had no fuel. I figured that was BS so I searched for reviews and found yours. Glad I did. Shame on Youtube for allowing the ad.

So I saw an ad for this lighter here in the States, it's being called "Bright Fire" in the ad I saw. The facts being disseminated are the lighter uses zero fuel, like butane, to generate an adjustable flame capable of burning through a metal can. Instead the manufacturer states the Bright Fire uses lithium batteries to store electricity recharged via USB, in order to supply power for the 2 plasma generators. These plasma generators supposedly generate a 6 inch plasma flame able to be sustained for many minutes and turned on at will. This somehow has been done at this small scale by some start-up? Meanwhile, there are probably a dozen fusion experiments, funded by billions of dollars, struggling to achieve ignition or sustain a plasma for longer than a few minutes. Making the entire premise for this lighter no more than a pipe dream at this point in human history.

Thanks for saving my money. First red flag for me was the ad saying it's been banned in Home Depot, Walmart and Amazon but when I did a Google search on it, first thing that popped up was an option to buy from Amazon. Not surprised to find out the whole ad was a scam.
