I’ve been writing and recording music since I was 11 to help me cope with my emotional pain.
My favorite lyrics are from Juice WRLD, esp when he speaks on being a victim of father abandonment which is a double-edged sword:
…a punch to the gut because it’s an excruciating pain I hope you never have to feel.
&
…a healing vibe of not being alone with the emotional torment of a dad choosing drugs over his family, leaving & never coming back.
There are a lot of kids out there like me who have issues with w/mental health & I understand it’s hard to be open about it. Being raw, honest & sharing my pain through music have given me the strength to persevere. I plan to move to LA after high school to pursue my music.
