Well Wolf Pack ! We did it ! My first Strongman contest was done and dusted Nov 22 2024 . So now it is on to bigger and better things "( love you Dad ) all goals were met !

Wow, your amazing brother. It makes me want to start working out again. I havent been to a gym since I was in high school. I hurt my sciatic nerve leg pressing a stack of weights. Im just nervous, I do know my limits, but I almost wasnt able to walk, but with your inspiration.. Im going to start slow...Love You my brother. Stay Safe and Keep Smiling ️

Hey Danny, you're clearly a strong fella. Now I am no sumo aficionado but I would most certainly recommend starting your shoulders in line with the bar and not over it as well as your hips a bit lower, this will take a lot of strain off of your lower back and allow you to use most of your posterior chain when moving the barbell off of the ground. Hope this is helpful and look forward to seeing you progress!

Good job! I'd just throw in a little more knee bend for leg drive so it doesn't look so much like a Romanian deadlift. I think you may have failed 190 this time simply because your lower back was doing most of the work.

you should probably sink your hips more when setting up for the lift, to incorporate more leg/glute drive--try to position your thighs roughly parallel to the ground. The way you lift it now, you're using like 90% back, which is not ideal for most people.
