Ruf is a tuner of Porsche that modifies them so much that the German government gives them their own VIN and registers them as a Ruf automobile. All of their cars are based off Porsche chassis'. Some cars are built from the ground up using Ruf designed components and some are brought in by customers and modified after they've been produced by Porsche.
