He did an outstanding job making Simcoe utterly hateable.. Fantastic acting on his part!!

I finally cracked and had to google/youtube this guy to confirm what his real voice sounds like

I met him at the Madison NJ train station where he was sitting on a bench. We chatted for a while and he couldn't have been nicer and more down to earth. Fine actor and took a selfie with him.

I love Simcoe's voice cuz I hate it. Samuel Roukin, you genius. Seriously, I witness so many people playing the slimy, dangerous villain as gruff and gritty, but really, the high pitched, lofty voice is so effective.

Roukin makes a great villain. Bond producers take note!

Samuel nailed the part, as he said the guy thinks he is normal. Even Himmler when off duty had his moments. But then Simcoe went on to better things in Canada. Turn was like a good book I could not put it down.

It's so weird not seeing him as a reprehensible sociopath who I despise. Very good acting.

Just finished binge-watching Turn and now I want a Simcoe GPS. "I suggest you turn left now before something bad happens".

What a character they made, this Simcoe. Not at all like the historical one but one of the greatest villains in historical fiction history.

Hands down one of my most favorite bad guys of all time.
