I got 7 lawsuit guitars, 3 sg’s and 4 les paul’s they play awsome, i put p90’s in all of them, they aged relic with matching headstocks, i love them !

The lawsuit was in actual fact gibson vs ibenez was settled out of court.

I bought my Ibanez Deluxe 59'er with guild style headstock brand new, ordered it, in Oct. or Sept 1976, waited, I got it around April 1977, it's a bit lighter in weight with a bolt on neck, and I changed the tuners, sustain is less than a real Gibson, otherwise it plays fast, , , still have it. . . .I bought a 2nd hand Ibanez acoustic Hummingbird Gibson copy, around 1979, red top, ( I recall a black top one next to it) both with the open book top, still have it too.

Interestingly, there were no lawsuits, just letters of desist.
