Robert Townsend, Sam Kinison, and Johnny Carson all sitting in a row. It's just surreal how much comedic genius is just casually sitting there.

Saw him live. A TITAN of comedy. "Did you GROW any taller after the break up?!!!" True MENACE of comedy!

Saw him at the Comedy Store before he was anyone. He had me crying. When he passed, I cried again.

Two legends together. There will never be another Carson nor Kinison

Johnny Carson was so amazing! His greatest gift, was his ability to connect with just about anyone. I love the moment at 8:21 where he says, while touching Kinison, "it's good to have you here". He was putting Kinison at ease. He recognized both his enormous talent, and insecurities at the same time. This was real show business... Professionals.

He was like a comet...blazing across the sky, and gone.
DrHogfan (2 hour ago)
There weren't too many comics that could crack up Johnny Carson like that.
